CHALLENGE

The kitchen felt cave like. it had low flat ceilings and was walled off from the living-dining area with its expansive glass wall which flooded the home with natural light and breath taking views of the valley.

SOLUTION 

Upon investigation of the structure, we discovered the wall dividing the home down the middle, was not load bearing. 

This allowed us to open the kitchen up to the adjoining rooms and give it the same expansive vaulted ceiling of the living-dining space.
